Description:	Анализируются спорные вопросы функционирования органов государственной власти в качестве органов конституционного контроля в эпоху Просвещения. Исследуются статус Тайного совета как органа конституционного контроля Англии с учетом особенностей английской абсолютной монархии, а также роль парламента Франции в становлении конституционного контроля. Рассматриваются причины отрицательного отношения философов-просветителей к судебному конституционному контролю. The controversial issues of the functioning of public authorities as bodies of constitutional control in the Enlightenment are analyzed. The status of the Privy Council as an organ of constitutional control of England is studied taking into account the characteristics of the English absolute monarchy, as well as the role of the French parliament in the formation of constitutional control. The reasons for the negative attitude of philosophers-educators to judicial constitutional review are considered.
