| Description: | Basing on the experience of pastoral activities of the Chinese Patriarchal Metochion in Moscow, the author analyzes the influence of the Chinese concept of “face” (面子), fundamental to the whole Chinese culture, on how the key Christian values are being adopted by representatives of the Chinese Orthodox community. Special focus is made on mutually supplementary opportunities and problematic aspects of coexistence of the two worldview paradigms in the mind of a Chinese Orthodox Christian who is becoming more involved in the life of the Church. As the author notes, a deep insight into the Chinese culture of communication and social relations, in particular its “mirroring” or “reflexivity” (映照性文化) aspects, is essential for the formation of authentic Christian communities with Chinese specificity and a long-term strategy for the sinicization of Orthodoxy. Основываясь на опыте пастырской деятельности Китайского Патриаршего подворья в Москве, автор анализирует влияние китайского концепта “лицо” (面子 мяньцзы), базового для всей китайской культуры, на особенности рецепции ключевых христианских ценностей представителями китайской православной общины. Отмечены взаимодополняющие возможности и проблемные стороны сосуществования двух мировоззренческих парадигм в сознании воцерковляющегося китайца. Подчеркивается необходимость глубокого понимания важнейших характеристик китайской культуры коммуникации и социальных отношений, в частности, ее “зеркальности”, или “рефлексивности” (映照性文化 инчжаосин вэньхуа) для формирования аутентичных христианских общин с китайской спецификой и долгосрочного планирования по реализации дальнейших шагов на пути китаизации Православия. |
