Description: The article is dedicated to the problem of creating conditions for professional socialization and securing young pedagogical and scientific workers at the university. The aim of the work is to analyse the possibilities of academic friendship as a promising type of mentoring to maintain the interest of young teachers and researchers to work at the university. Academic friendship is seen as a special type of relationship between university staff, particularly those belonging to older and younger age groups, which includes three components – passion for research, for teaching and the desire to thrive together. Academic friendship is characterized by the emergence of aesthetic pleasure and psychological satisfaction from a high degree of mutual understanding, mutual moral support, unselfish and unbiased attitude towards each other in the process of joint search for truth. These effects are especially significant for the generation of millennials, who come to universities today due to the implementation of the national project "Science and Universities", who are easy-going, aim to get pleasure from work and communication, need feedback and prefer the "parental style" of management. Theoretical significance of the study lies in the first analysis of the phenomenon of "academic friendship" in the context of domestic higher education, the definition of its essence and meaning, its differences from other types of academic mentoring. The practical significance of the work is due to the description of the possibilities of academic friendship in maintaining the interest of young teachers and researchers to work at the university, the knowledge of which can be useful to administrators, teachers and researchers of the problems of higher education development.
Статья посвящена проблеме создания условий для профессиональной социализации и закрепления молодых педагогических и научных работников в университете. Цель работы – проанализировать возможности академической дружбы как перспективного вида наставничества для поддержания интереса молодых преподавателей и исследователей к работе в университете. Академическая дружба рассматривается как особый вид отношений между сотрудниками университета, в частности, принадлежащими к старшим и младшим возрастным группам, включающий три компонента – страсть к исследованиям, к преподаванию и стремление к совместному процветанию. Академическая дружба характеризуется возникновением эстетического удовольствия и психологического удовлетворения от высокой степени взаимопонимания, взаимной моральной поддержки, бескорыстного и непредвзятого отношения друг к другу в процессе совместного поиска истины. Указанные эффекты особенно значимы для поколения миллениалов, приходящих сегодня в университеты вследствие реализации национального проекта «Наука и университеты», легких в общении, нацеленных на получение удовольствия от работы и общения, нуждающихся в обратной связи и предпочитающих «родительский стиль» управления. Теоретическая значимость исследования заключается во впервые выполненном применительно к контексту отечественного высшего образования анализе феномена «академическая дружба», определении его сути и смысла, отличий от других видов академического наставничества. Практическая значимость проведенной работы обусловлена описанием возможностей академической дружбы в поддержании интереса молодых преподавателей и исследователей к работе в университете, знание которых может быть полезно администраторам, преподавателям и исследователям проблем развития высшего образования.
