Περιγραφή: В статье рассматриваются исследования, посвященные изучению мультикультурных контактов на территории современной Латвии. Своего рода наблюдения, посвященные отдельным этническим группам, населявшим современную территорию Латвии, стали появляться еще в XVII в. Одним из первых авторов, описавших историю лэттов, стал лютеранский пастор Пауль Эйнхорн. И если в течение XIII–XVIII вв. в большинстве случаев шел лишь исторический процесс описания тех или иных событий, произошедших в Лифляндии, то на протяжении XIX в. началось активное собирание, обработка и оценка исторического материала по теме межэтнических отношений в прибалтийских землях от Средневековья до яркого проявления капитализма. В XIX в. вопросы истории межэтнических отношений начали изучаться в контексте общей истории Прибалтийского края. Все больше история Лифляндии приобретала характерную социализацию, т. е. определенную национальную направленность. Характеризуемые работы – средневековые хроники, публикации, исторические исследования и пр. Они рассматриваются в хронологическом порядке, с особенностями периода своего появления. Представлен анализ их содержания, отражена степень осмысления межнациональных отношений населения Лифляндии в исторической ретроспективе и на протяжении XIX – начала XX в. The article discusses research on the study of multicultural contacts in the territory of modern Latvia. A kind of observation on individual ethnic groups that inhabited the modern territory of Latvia began to appear in the 17th century. One of the first authors to describe the history of the Lattes was Lutheran pastor Paul Einhorn. And if during the XIII‑XVIII centuries, in most cases, there was only a historical process of describing certain events that took place in Livonia, then during the nineteenth century began the active gathering, processing and evaluation of historical material on inter‑ethnic relations in the Baltic lands from the Middle Ages to the vivid manifestation of capitalism. In the XIX century issues of the history of inter‑ethnic relations began to be studied in the context of the general history of the Baltic region. More and more, the history of Livonia acquired a characteristic socialization, i.e. a certain national focus. Characterized works are medieval chronicles, publications, historical studies, etc. They are considered in chronological order, with features of the period of their appearance. The analysis of their content is presented, the degree of understanding of interethnic relations of the population of Livland is reflected in a historical retrospective and during the XIX – early XX centuries.
