| Description: | Исследуется толерантный дискурс как дискурс ценностно-ориентированного типа и его формирование на стыке противоположных по ценностным установкам мировоззрений. Выявляется понятийная сущность категории толерантности, определяются особенности толерантного дискурса. Ситуация возникновения толерантного дискурса анализируется на материале англоязычной статьи Tolerance for belief, опубликованной в журнале The Sentinel-Record и содержащей языковые маркеры, указывающие на развитие толерантного дискурса. При проведении исследования используются описательный метод, метод критической лингвистики и интерпретативный метод. Описывается методика выявления оценочных контекстов и способ актуализации оценки субъектом. Объясняется функция оценочного высказывания в процессе коммуникативного взаимодействия в толерантном дискурсе. Отмечается, что отдельный вид дискурса имеет свою иерархию ценностей. Дается интерпретация категории толерантности с позиции отечественных и зарубежных исследователей. Описываются формирование толерантного дискурса, его характерные признаки, условия его успешного функционирования и назначение. Дается определение толерантному дискурсу и интерпретируется стратегия построения текста данного дискурса, имеющего столкновение ценностных установок религиозного и научного сообществ. Делается вывод, что толерантный дискурс имеет место в случае столкновения ценностных установок различных сторон, которые стремятся достичь взаимопонимания, а в процессе развертывания толерантного дискурса возможны проявления толерантного и интолерантного отношения, связанные с поиском точек соприкосновения с целью достижения взаимопонимания. The objective of the article is to study tolerant discourse as a value-oriented discourse and its forming at the junction of worldviews with opposite value systems. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to identify the notional essence of the category of tolerance, to define the features of tolerant discourse and to analyze the emergence of tolerant discourse on linguistic material. The latter is the English-language article “Tolerance for belief”, published in the journal “The Sentinel-Record”, which contains language markers indicating on the development of tolerant discourse. The study uses the descriptive method, method of critical linguistics, and interpretive method. The technique of revealing the evaluative contexts and the method of actualizing the assessment by the subject are described. The function of the evaluative utterance in the process of communicative interaction in tolerant discourse is explained. It is noted that a separate type of discourse has its own hierarchy of values. The interpretation of the category of tolerance is given from the perspective of national and foreign researchers. The formation of tolerant discourse, its characteristic features, the conditions for its successful functioning and purpose are described. The definition of tolerant discourse is given and the strategy of composing of the text of the given discourse is interpreted, which has a confrontation of values of the religious and scientific communities. In conclusion, it may be said that tolerant discourse takes place in case of confrontation of values of various parties that seek to achieve mutual understanding. In the pro №4(18) (2019) |
