Περιγραφή: The author studies the resistance to smallpox vaccination of residents of the Perm province in the post-reform period. The factors and reasons for opposing vaccination are analyzed: primarily psychological and culturally conditioned. In the last third of the XIX – early XX century the zemstvo was engaged in vaccination. There is a lot of information about anti-vaccination in the zemstvo sources. The main idea of the anti– vaxxers was the representation of the Old Believers: "vaccinated smallpox is the seal of the Antichrist." Stereotypes formed about the Antichrist and the sinfulness of smallpox vaccination were popular among residents. Their fight against vaccination included passive (most often avoiding immunization, damaging vaccinations, presenting unreliable erroneous or deliberately false information in the communicative space) and active (bribing doctors or accusing them of negligence, insulting them) forms. Refusal of the vaccine was a mass cultural practice until the end of the study period. The Old Believers tried to avoid vaccination themselves and spread their views among the Orthodox population. This propaganda increased the number of hesitant people and persuaded the doubters to abandon this medical procedure. Educated groups of the population were concerned about the growth of the anti-vaccination lobby, the lack of collective immunity from infection and the ongoing epidemics of smallpox in the Perm province. They could not rationally explain the stable existence of the meme "vaccination is the seal of the antichrist" and criticized the anti–vaxxers, considered their behavior inadequate, deviant and delinquent. Anti-vaccination became a conflictogenic factor, divided the residents of the Perm province, contributed to the growth of social tension. Автор изучает сопротивление оспопрививанию жителей Пермской губернии в пореформенный период. Анализируются факторы и причины выступлений против вакцинации: прежде всего психологические и культурно обусловленные. В последней трети XIX – начале XX в. вакцинацией занималось земство. В земских источниках сохранилось много сведений об антивакцинаторстве. Основной идеей антиваксеров было представление старообрядцев: «прививная оспа – печать антихриста». Стереотипы, сложившиеся об антихристе и греховности оспопрививания, пользовались популярностью среди жителей. Их борьба с вакцинацией включала в себя пассивные (чаще всего уклонение от иммунизации, повреждение прививки, презентация в коммуникативном пространстве недостоверной ошибочной или заведомо ложной информации) и активные (подкуп медиков или обвинение их в халатности, оскорбление их) формы. Отказ от вакцины являлся массовой культурной практикой до конца изучаемого периода. Старообрядцы старались уклониться от оспопрививания сами и распространяли свои взгляды среди православного населения. Эта пропаганда увеличивала число колеблющихся людей и убеждала сомневающихся отказаться от данной медицинской процедуры. Образованные группы населения были обеспокоены ростом антивакцинаторского лобби, отсутствием коллективного иммунитета от инфекции и непрекращающимися эпидемиями натуральной оспы в Пермской губернии. Они не могли рационально объяснить устойчивое бытование мема «прививка – печать антихриста» и критиковали антиваксеров, считали их поведение неадекватным, девиантным и делинквентным. Антивакцинаторство стало конфликтогенным фактором, разъединяло жителей Пермской губернии, способствовало росту социального напряжения.
