| Description: | This article reveals some aspects of the state and dynamics of quantitative and qualitative structural changes in the initial period of market reforms and at the present stage in the main sub-sectors of animal husbandry in the Central Federal District and its macro-regions and regions. The study found that in the 90s of the last century, significant structural shifts occurred in animal husbandry, characterized by an unprecedented reduction in livestock and poultry, volumes of all types of products, changes in organizational, sectoral, territorial, resource structures, and the specialization of animal husbandry was transformed. In the structure of the value of gross output, compared with 1990, crop production began to occupy a large share. The ratios of the main types of livestock products in meat production have changed significantly. In general, the Central Federal District and most of its regions are characterized by a pronounced growth trend in the structure of pig and poultry meat production and an extremely low proportion of cattle meat. The main volumes of livestock and poultry production in the Central Chernozem and Central macroregions are currently concentrated in agricultural organizations. There is a slow increase in livestock production in peasant (farm) farms and its reduction is noted in the households of the population. Based on the results of the analysis and assessment of transformational processes in the livestock sub-sectors of the Central Federal District, and its macro-regions and regions, a set of priority strategic directions of agricultural policy at the present stage of import substitution is proposed, aimed at the effective and sustainable development of all sub-sectors of livestock and saturation of the agricultural market with its main types of products. В данной статье раскрываются отдельные аспекты состояния и динамики количественных и качественных структурных изменений в начальный период рыночных реформ и на современном этапе в основных подотраслях животноводства Центрального Федерального Округа, и его макрорегионах и регионах. В ходе исследования установлено, что в 90-х годах прошлого века в животноводстве произошли существенные структурные сдвиги характеризующиеся беспрецедентным сокращением поголовья скота и птицы, объемов всех видов продукции, изменением организационной, отраслевой, территориальной, ресурсной структур, трансформировалась специализация животноводства. В структуре стоимости валовой продукции по сравнению с 1990 г большую долю стало занимать растениеводство. Значительно изменились соотношения основных видов животноводческой продукции в мясном производстве. В целом по Центральному Федеральному Округу и большинству его областей характерен выраженный тренд роста в структуре производства мяса свиней и птицы и крайне низкий удельный вес мяса крупного рогатого скота. Основные объемы производства скота и птицы в Центрально-Черноземном и Центральном макрорегионах в настоящее время сосредоточены в сельскохозяйственных организациях. Происходит медленное наращивание животноводческой продукции в крестьянских (фермерских) хозяйствах и отмечается её сокращение в хозяйствах населения. По итогам анализа и оценки трансформационных процессов в подотраслях животноводства Центрального Федерального Округа, и его макрорегионов и областях предлагается комплекс приоритетных стратегических направлений аграрной политики на современном этапе импортозамещения, направленных на эффективное и устойчивое развитие всех подотраслей животноводства и насыщение аграрного рынка, основными видами его продукции.
