| Description: | В статье изучен процесс постановки на государственный учет объектов археологического наследия Херсонесского городища в исторической ретроспективе по нормам советского, украинского и российского законодательства в области охраны памятников истории и культуры. Сделан вывод, что наибольший объем работы в данном направлении был проделан в советский период, а процесс постановки на государственный учет памятников археологии продолжается в Севастополе и сейчас. The article studies the process of public registration of objects of archaeological heritage of Chersonesos ancient settlement in historical retrospective in the context of Soviet, Ukrainian and Russian legislature in the field of protection of monuments of history and culture. The author concludes that the Soviet period witnessed the greatest amount of work in the field, and the process of public registration of archeological monuments is underway in Sevastopol now.
