| Description: | The article raises the issue of irrational development of residential development in the suburbanized zones of the core of the St. Petersburg agglomeration, followed by the withdrawal of human and economic resources from small towns and rural settlements to the metropolis. The authors propose a solution to the problem by forming a powerful settlement support center on the territory of the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad region. The current situation in the western territorial sector of the Leningrad region is analyzed and an advantageous position for the placement of a new settlement subcenter is revealed. В статье поднимается вопрос нерационального развития жилой застройки в субурбанизированных зонах ядра Санкт-Петербургской агломерации, с последующим оттягиванием людских и экономических ресурсов из малых городов и сельских поселений в Санкт-Петербург и его пригороды. Авторами предложено решение проблемы путем формирования самостоятельного опорного центра расселения на территории Ломоносовского района Ленобласти. Проанализирована существующая ситуация в западном территориальном секторе Ленобласти и выявлено выгодное положение для размещение нового подцентра расселения. |
