Περιγραφή: В публикации рассматривается одна многочисленная категория керамики из раскопок 20162017 гг. церкви Благовещения на Городище. Автор предлагает назвать ее строительной керамикой ивыделяет семь отличительных особенностей, среди которых следы раствора на фрагментах керамики ипрактически необработанная внутренняя поверхность сосудов. Предполагается, что полые сосуды этой категории керамики использовались для облегчения несущих конструкций в кладке восточной части храма 1103 г., возведенного на краю засыпанного крепостного рва. The paper examine the numerous fi nds of a certain type of pottery found during the 2016-2017 excavation of the church of the Annunciation at Gorodische. Suggesting it should be termed construction pottery , we single out seven distinctive features of this type, including the traces of mortar on its fragments and the unprocessed inner surface of the vessel. Empty vessels belonging to this category might have been used to reduce the weight of load-bearing structures in the eastern part of the 1103 church, which was built on the edge of the fi lled-up moat of a previously existing fortress.
