Περιγραφή: The article considers some problems of teaching mathematical statistics at a technical university using the MS Excel package, and forms ways to solve the outlined problems. The packages of applied programs that can be used in teaching probability theory and statistics are listed, methodological aspects of teaching students using digital information technologies are described. Special attention is paid to the use of the MS Excel package in teaching mathematical statistics. According to the results of the experimental work, it was established that the inclusion of statistical data processing with the use of digital software products in the educational activities of students can negatively affect the process of mastering the educational material and the formation of necessary competencies. To solve the identified problem, methodological recommendations on the organization of educational work with students from the point of the psychological and pedagogical approach are proposed.
В статье рассмотрены отдельные проблемы обучения математической статистики в техническом вузе с применением пакета MS Excel, сформулированы пути преодоления очерченных проблем. Перечислены пакеты прикладных программ, которые могут быть использованы в обучении теории вероятностей и статистики, описаны методические аспекты обучения студентов с применением цифровых информационных технологий. Особое внимание уделено применению пакета MS Excel в обучении математической статистике. По итогам экспериментальной работы было выявлено, что включение в учебную деятельность студентов обработку статистических данных с применением цифровых программных продуктов может негативно влиять на процесс усвоения учебного материала и формирования необходимых компетенций. Для преодоления выявленной проблемы предложены методические рекомендации по организации учебной работы со студентами с точки зрения психолого-педагогического подхода.
