Description: The article provides a brief analysis of changes in the main climatic indicators (average monthly temperatures and precipitation distribution throughout the year) for the semi-desert, desert and dry steppe zones of Kalmykia in 2023. Climate changes have been observed in the last decade on the territory of the Republic of Kalmykia. The main changes in the winter period have been characterized by the absence of stable snow cover and low winter temperatures. The spring period of 2023 was marked by early warming and short frosts in early spring, the summer period was very hot, with a long interval of high temperatures and precipitation, mainly of a short-term stormy nature. The autumn period throughout the republic was hot in summer, without a pronounced cooling.
В статье приводится краткий анализ изменения основных климатических показателей (среднемесячных температур и распределение осадков в течение года) для полупустынной, пустынной и сухостепной зон Калмыкии за 2023 год. Изменения климата наблюдаются в последнее десятилетие и на территории Республики Калмыкия. Основные изменения зимнего периода характеризуются отсутствием устойчивого снежного покрова и низких зимних температур. Весенний период 2023 года отметился ранним потеплением и непродолжительными заморозками в начале весны, летний период был очень жарким с длительным интервалом высоких температур и осадками преимущественно кратковременного ливневого характера. Осенний период по всей республике был по-летнему жарким без резко выраженного похолодания.
