Περιγραφή: Streptococcusagalactiae (GBS, group B streptococcus) is a member of the bacteria of the genus Streptococcus and is the only representative of group B streptococci according to the classification of R. Landsfield. GBS are Gram-positive cocci forming chains of variable length. They are facultative anaerobes. In newborn children, GBS causes severe diseases with a high mortality rate. Neonatal infection caused by GBS is in the sphere of interest not only for neonatologists and paediatricians, but also for obstetricians and gynaecologists all over the world. The reason for this is the predominant route of GBS infection in newborns – colonization of GBS during delivery from the mother, more often during vaginal delivery.This work presents an analysis of the results of screening for group B streptococcus according to the data of medical institutions of Orenburg Oblast.
Streptococcusagalactiae (СГВ, GBS, стрептококк группы В) входит в состав бактерий рода Streptococcus и является единственным представителем стрептококков группы В по классификации Р.Лендсфилд. СГВ – грамположительные кокки, образующие цепочки вариабельной длины. Это факультативные анаэробы. У новорожденных детей СГВ вызывает тяжело протекающие заболевания с высоким уровнем летальности. Реализация неонатальной инфекции, вызванной СГВ входит в сферу интересов не только неонатологов и педиатров, но и акушер-гинекологов всего мира. Причина тому преимущественный путь СГВ-инфицирования новорожденных – колонизация СГВ во время родов от матери, чаще при вагинальном родоразрешении.В данной работе представлен анализ результатов скрининга на стрептококк группы В по данным медицинских учреждений Оренбургской области.
