Description: This article examines the process of developing the browser-based computer game "Jylan" using JavaScript and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). The main goal of the project is to collect as much food as possible, increasing the length of the snake and earning points. The player must avoid collisions with walls and their own tail to survive in the game for as long as possible. As part of the work, the design of the game field, control mechanics, and key game conditions will be implemented. The article explores the main technologies used in game development and provides a comparative analysis of them. It also discusses the stages of platform selection before game development and further monitoring of the game. Additionally, the article examines modern trends in the growing popularity of browser-based computer games, analyzing the factors influencing audience expansion, such as accessibility, ease of use, and the development of web technologies. The stages of creating such games are also described in detail, from selecting tools and technologies to implementing game mechanics, testing, and optimizing for different devices and browsers.
