Περιγραφή: Background: contemporary society and the state in its development faces risks that require the efforts of both state and numerous public organizations. The Roman Catholic Church is a champion of human life, social peace, and well-being, maintaining active socio-political positions even in the conditions of the autonomy of the state of the church. The preservation of this position became possible due to the change in the vector of development of the church — now, human rights, its socio-material reality are the main objects of the church attention. Over the past century and a half, within the framework of the Catholic social teaching, the focus of the church attention has been redistributed to the spiritual and social spheres of human life. Objective: to identify patterns, stages, and prospects for developing the Roman Catholic Church’s view of human rights. Methodology: historical and legal method, content analysis method, comparative method, system method. Results: the position, according to which the church’s view of human rights changes over time is substantiated, and the meaning of this view changes for both the church itself and other social institutions (the state). Conclusions: the theoretical category of “human rights” has passed a specific path of development within the framework of Christian teaching and only at the present stage has acquired the significance of the central element of this teaching.
Введение: современное общество и государство в своем развитии сталкивается с рисками, требующими усилий как государственных, так и многочисленных общественных организаций. Поборником человеческой жизни, социального мира и благополучия является Римская католическая церковь, сохраняющая активные социально-политические позиции даже в условиях автономии государства церкви. Сохранение данной позиции стало возможным благодаря изменению вектора развития церкви — теперь права человека, его социо-материальная реальность выступают основным объектом внимания церкви. Последние полтора столетия в рамках социального учения церкви происходит перераспределение фокуса внимания церкви на духовную и социальную сферы жизни человека. Цель: выявление закономерностей, этапов, перспектив развития взгляда римской католической церкви на права человека. Методологическая основа: историко-правовой метод, метод контент-анализа, сравнительный метод, системный метод. Результаты: обоснована позиция, согласно которой взгляд церкви на права человека меняется со временем, а также меняется значение этого взгляда как для самой церкви, так и для других социальных институтов (государства). Выводы: теоретическая категория «права человека» прошла определенный путь развития в рамках христианского учения и только на современном этапе приобрела значение центрального элемента данного учения.
