Περιγραφή: The author of the article considers basic aspects of the problem that involves the process of the state inspec�tion in Soviet Union of former prisoners of war who were held in German camps during Great Patriotic war. The research was conducted on a basis of the archival documents. Some materials were involved in a science use for the first time. The problem was considered on the example of soldiers and officers from Udmurtia that survived in Nazi camps and returned to the USSR. The relevance of the study is conditioned by a insufficient development of the problem in the domestic historiography both on regional and All-Union levels. The author considered the extent of necessity for performing of inspection of Red Army warriors who were held in enemy camps. The main phases of the state inspection are represented. The principal causes of conducting the inspection, as well as its functions, particulars, scales and main results of the filtration, were analyzed. The places for performing inspection of former prisoners of war, their regime and special features of detention were characterized. The article contains data about rights and responsibilities of former prisoners of war who stayed in special camps and reserve military units. In addition, the author considered the issue of postwar fates of the persons who passed the inspection. In the process of analyzing the facts of biographies of soldiers and officers from Udmurtia who were captured by the enemy, it was established that these facts generally confirm the general trends in the life paths of other Soviet sol�diers and officers who survived in Nazi camps and returned to the USSR.
В статье рассматриваются основные аспекты вопроса, затрагивающего процесс проверки (фильтрации) в Советском Союзе бывших военнопленных, которые в годы Великой Отечественной войны содержались за колючей проволокой фашистских лагерей, а затем были освобождены. Многие архивные материалы, примененные в качестве источников исследования, впервые введены в научный оборот. Проблема рассмотрена на примере судеб солдат и офицеров из Удмуртской АССР, выживших в немецком плену и вернувшихся на родину. Недостаточная разработанность темы в отечественной историографии, как на региональном, так и на общесоюзном уровне, обуславливает ее актуальность. В исследовании рассмотрена степень необходимости осуществления государственной проверки бойцов и командиров Красной Армии, побывавших во вражеском плену. Отражены основные этапы фильтрации в специальных лагерях НКВД СССР, а начиная с 1944 г., в запасных подразделениях Советских вооруженных сил. Выявлены причины проведения этой проверки, а также функции, особенности, масштабы и главные итоги. Охарактеризованы фильтрационные пункты, режим и другие особенности содержания бывших военнопленных. В работе содержатся данные о правах и обязанностях представителей спецконтингента, находившихся в соответствующих лагерях и армейских запасных частях. Рассмотрен вопрос об особенностях послевоенных судеб лиц, прошедших проверку. В процессе анализа событий из биографий военнослужащих из Удмуртии, побывавших в плену, установлено, что эти факты в целом подтверждают общие тенденции жизненного пути других советских бойцов и командиров, уцелевших в гитлеровских лагерях и возвратившихся в СССР.
