Description: History of political exile in the Orenburg province in the first half of the 19th century. is an integral part not only of the history of the Orenburg province, but also of the history of the Southern Urals and Russia as a whole. The article shows that at the beginning of the 19th century, in connection with manifestations of political opposition observed in the Russian Empire and occasional outbreaks of anti-government protests, the central government increasingly began to apply special punishments to political criminals. One of the measures for state criminals at that time was deportation to the Orenburg region. The article examines the features of the development of political exile in the Orenburg region during the specified period of time, characterizes the main categories of exiles, their position and fate, and identifies tasks for further study of the topic.
История политической ссылки в Оренбургской губернии в первой половине XIX в. является неотъемлемой частью не только истории Оренбургской губернии, но и истории Южного Урала и России в целом. В статье показано, что начале XIX века, в связи с наблюдавшимися в Российской империи проявлениями политической оппозиции и эпизодическими вспышками антиправительственных выступлений, центральная власть стала все чаще применять особые наказания к политическим преступникам. Одна из мер для государственных преступников в тот период времени – это высылка в Оренбургский край. В статье рассматриваются особенности развития политической ссылки в Оренбуржье в указанный период времени, характеризуются основные категории ссыльных, их положение и судьба, определяются задачи по дальнейшему изучению темы.
