Настоящая статья посвящена переговорам о заключении Брестского мира. Автор рассматривает основные этапы переговорного процесса, позиции и подходы сторон, препятствия на пути заключения мира. Особое внимание уделяется тактике, выбранной сторонами для достижения обозначенных целей. Подходы, предлагаемые В. И. Лениным, Н. И. Бухариным и Л. Д. Троцким, отличались кардинальным образом и привели бы к совершенно разным исходам. Представляется особенно интересным проследить как личные качества политических деятелей того времени определили движение государственной машины, которая, казалось, в силу своей неповоротливости, не терпит сиюминутных веяний. Автор отмечает, что особенно отчётливо роль фактора личности в международных отношениях прослеживается в действиях Л. Д. Троцкого на переговорах, который, исходя из собственных убеждений, позволил себе отступить от установок правительства и партии. Данный исторический период наиболее ярко продемонстрировал, что фактор личности имеет огромное влияние на формирование внешнеполитического курса государства, определение тактики и стратегии страны, способен изменить ход истории. This article is devoted to the negotiations on the conclusion of the Brest peace. The author considers the main stages of the negotiation process, the positions and approaches of the parties, the obstacles to the conclusion of peace. Particular attention is paid to the tactics chosen by the parties to achieve the designated goals. The approaches proposed by V. I. Lenin, N. I. Bukharin and L. D. Trotsky differed radically and would lead to completely different outcomes. It seems particularly interesting to trace how the personal qualities of politicians of that time determined the movement of the state machine, which, due to its slowness, seemed to ignore momentary trends. The author notes that the role of the personality factor in international relations is clearly seen in the actions of L. D. Trotsky at the negotiations, who, proceeding from his own beliefs, allowed himself to deviate from the guidelines of the government and the party. This historical period most clearly demonstrated that the personality factor has a huge impact on the elaboration of the state foreign policy, the designation of tactics and strategy of the country, and can change the course of history. |
