| Description: | The article provides a comparative analysis of zoonymic paremias of the Lezgian and English languages. Many images arose on the basis of an animal that served as an attribute, a sign or the nature of the animal’s behavior. A comparative analysis of the Lezgian paremias with the paremias of the English language shows that many similar images associated with the animal world are found in these languages. The world of animals occupies a large place in the Lezgian and English linguistic cultures. Paremias with zoonyms are among the most ancient not only among the Lezgins and the British, but also among other peoples. In both languages, one of the central places is occupied by paremias with a zoonym component. There are more than 250 of them in Lezginsky. In English, the number of animal parodies exceeds 300 units. In both languages, the key place is occupied by paremias with the names of pets. The semantic correspondence of the Lezgian and English paroemias is all the more significant because these languages do not have common genetic roots, the cultures of the peoples are dissimilar. The main reason for the similarity of the paremias of different languages is the commonality of their basic linguistic and folklore functions. В статье проводится сопоставительный анализ зоонимических паремий лезгинского и английского языков. Многие образы возникли на основе служившего атрибутом животного, признака или характера его поведения. Сравнительный анализ лезгинских паремий с паремиями английского языка показывает, что в этих языках обнаруживаются множество сходных образов, связанных с животным миром, который занимает большое место в лезгинской и английской лингвокультурах. Паремии с зоонимами относятся к наиболее древним не только у лезгин и англичан, но и у других народов. В обоих языках одно из центральных мест занимают паремии с компонентом-зоонимом. В лезгинском их более 250 единиц. В английском языке количество паремий о животных превышает 300 единиц. В обоих языках ключевое место занимают паремии с наименованиями домашних животных. Смысловое соответствие лезгинских и английских паремий тем более знаменательно, что эти языки не имеют общих генетических корней, культуры народов несхожи. Главная же причина сходства паремий разных языков заключается в общности их основных языковых и фольклорных функций. |
