Description: Providing effective interlanguage and intercultural mediation in translation involves activities at the junction and in constant interaction of two languages and cultures. The purpose of this work is to form linguoculturological, psycholinguistic, psychological and methodological basis that determine the nature of possession of information in two languages and cultures necessary for effective intercultural mediation in translation. The conclusion is made about the fact that the translator requires knowledge of two linguistic cultures through a system of interlinguocultural points of contact, i.e. activities in two specific languages and cultures, which, when in comparison, manifest their similarities, specifics or uniqueness. The whole body of knowledge about such pairs or single unique phenomena is proposed to be called interlinguocultural fragments of knowledge, which, in addition to knowledge of linguistic and cultural facts, involve projecting a specific fragment of one linguoculture onto another, comparing, analyzing similarities and differences, the nature of their manifestation and their influence on communication and integration of information about two phenomena into one fragment of knowledge. Such fragments of knowledge suggest a more conscious and deep command of linguistic and cultural information, which is provided by appropriate types of awareness – metalinguistic/interlinguistic and metacultural/intercultural. The forming of these types of awareness qualitatively changes the nature of knowledge and command of linguistic and cultural information, because: a) it increases sensitivity to elements of language and culture;b) it develops the ability to consciously reflect on them, identify and analyze their specific characteristics; c) forms the ability to "decentralize", i.e. the ability to perceive specific phenomena from the view point of a representative of another culture; d) it creates prerequisites for the use of linguistic and cultural knowledge in real communication flexibly, considering the situation. It is concluded that it is necessary to consider the mentioned types of awareness collectively as interlinguocultural consciousness, and its proposed definition. The forming and functioning of interlinguocultural awareness is based on a number of characteristics, professional translation issues, skills and personal traits, the purposeful forming of which should be an integral element of professional training of translators both in professional training and in classes on language practice. A model of the translator's interlinguocultural awareness is proposed, including the aforementoned elements.
Обеспечение эффективного межъязыкового и межкультурного посредничества в переводе предполагает деятельность на стыке и в постоянном взаимодействии двух языков и культур. Цель данной работы – сформулировать лингвокультурологические, психолингвистические, психологические и методические основы, определяющие характер владения информацией в двух языках и культурах, необходимый для осуществления эффективного межкультурного посредничества в переводе. Сделан вывод о том, что переводчику необходимо знание двух лингвокультур через систему интерлингвокультурных точек соприкосновения, т.е. явлений в двух конкретных языках и культурах, при сопоставлении которых проявляются их сходства, специфика или уникальность. Совокупность знаний о таких парах или одиночных уникальных явлениях предлагается называть интерлингвокультурными фрагментами знания, которые помимо знания языковых и культурных фактов предполагают проецирование конкретного фрагмента одной лингвокультуры на другую, сравнение, анализ сходств и различий, их причин, характера их проявления и влияния на коммуникацию и интеграцию информации о двух явлениях в один фрагмент знания. Такие фрагменты знания предполагают более осознанный и глубокий характер владения языковой и культурной информацией, который обеспечивается соответствующими видами осведомленности – метаязыковой/межъязыковой и метакультурной/межкультурной. Формирование данных видов осведомленности качественно меняет характер знания и владения языковой и культурной информацией, т.к.: а) повышает чувствительность к элементам языка и культуры; б) развивает способность сознательно размышлять о них, выявлять и анализировать их специфические характеристики; в) формирует способность к «децентрализации», т.е. умению воспринимать конкретные явления с позиции представителя другой культуры; г) создает предпосылки для использования языковых и культурных знаний в реальной коммуникации гибко и с учетом ситуации. Делается вывод о необходимости рассматривать упомянутые виды осведомленности в совокупности как интерлингвокультурную осведомленность и предлагается ее определение. Формирование и функционирование интерлингвокультурной осведомленности опирается на ряд установок, профессиональных переводческих вопросов, умений и личностных характеристик, целенаправленное формирование которых должно быть неотъемлемым элементом профессиональной подготовки переводчиков как в рамках обучения переводу, так и на занятиях по практике языка. Предлагается модель интерлингвокультурной осведомленности переводчика, включающая описанные выше элементы.
