| Description: | This article is devoted to determining the role of complementarity in describing one of the semantic constants of the language – synonymy. The object of the analysis is synonymous sentences from a political text /discourse. In the course of the material analysis, it was revealed that the inclusion of a linguistic unit or group of linguistic units as synonymous in a homogeneous semantic space of the text /discourse is due to the existence of an additional meaning (or its component) in each of them, which is absent in other synonyms. It has been determined that it is precisely complementarity that is the condition for considering linguistic units as synonymous. It is proved that the significant role of complementarity in synonymy lies in the formation and development of the meaning of the entire text/discourse. Special attention is paid to the mechanism and methods of operation of the complementarity principle in the interpretation of synonymous connections of linguistic units in the text /discourse. Different mechanisms for actualizing additional meanings of synonymous sentences in the formation of meaning and its development in the text/discourse are determined. Настоящая статья посвящена определению роли дополнительности при описании одной из семантических констант языка – синонимии. Объектом анализа избраны синонимичные предложения из политического текста/дискурса. В ходе анализа материала выявлено, что включение в однородное смысловое пространство текста/дискурса языковой единицы или группы языковых единиц как синонимичных обусловлено существованием у каждого из них дополнительного смысла (или его компонента), отсутствующего у других синонимов. Установлено, что именно дополнительность есть условие рассмотрения языковых единиц как синонимичных. Доказывается, что значимая роль дополнительности в синонимии заключается в формировании и развитии смысла всего текста/дискурса. Особое внимание в статье уделяется механизму и способам действия принципа дополнительности при интерпретации синонимических связей языковых единиц в тексте/дискурсе. Определены разные механизмы актуализации дополнительных смыслов синонимичных предложений при формировании смысла и его развития в тексте/дискурсе. |
