Институт экологии горных территорий им. А.К. Темботова РАН является одним из ведущих биологических академических институтов РФ с высоким научным потенциалом, комплексно изучающим уязвимые горные экосистемы и их компоненты с учетом глобального изменения климата и возрастающего антропогенного пресса. В Институте сохранена и активно развивается научная школа чл.корр. РАН А.К. Темботова Биологический эффект взаимодействия факторов зональности на равнине и поясности в горах, в настоящее время лидером школы является чл.корр. РАН Ф.А. Темботова. Научные результаты носят фундаментальный, междисциплинарный характер, соответствуют Программе фундаментальных научных исследований государственных академий наук на 20132020 гг., получены в условиях горной территории с учетом высотнопоясной структуры Кавказа, с использованием традиционных и современных методов. В Институте работают биологи, географы, почвоведы, химики, медики. Ряд сотрудников (13 ) осуществляют и педагогическую деятельность, внедряя результаты научных исследований в учебный процесс для обучающихся разного уровня (дошкольного, школьного, дополнительного, вузовского, послевузовского). Институт регулярно проводит конференцию с международным участием Горные экосистемы и их компоненты, последние из которых проведены в 2012 г. (Абхазия), 2014 г. (Адыгея), 2017 г. и 2019 г. (КабардиноБалкария). ИЭГТ РАН активно участвует в популяризации науки и формировании экологическиориентированного менталитета населения через межрегиональное общественное движение Экология жизнь, учредителями которого являются научные сотрудники Института. Tembotov Institute of Ecology of Mountain Territories, RAS is one of the leading biological academician institutes in Russia. The Institute possesses high intellectual resources, which makes it possible to study fragile mountain ecosystems and their components in terms of global climate changes and increasing anthropogenic impact in an integrated way. The Institutes board has preserved and intensively develops the scientifi c school Biological effect of interaction between factors of zonality on the plains and of vertical zonality in the mountains, which was elaborated by A.K. Tembotov, the corresponding member of RAS. At present the scientific school leader is F.A. Tembotova, the corresponding member of RAS. The scientific results of the Institute are fundamental and interdisciplinary, and correspond to the Program of fundamental scientific investigations of the state Academies of Sciences for the period of 20132020. The scientific results have been realized under conditions of mountain territories with consideration for the verticalzonal structure of the Caucasus by means of traditional and uptodate techniques. Specialists in Biology, Geography, Soil science, Chemistry and Medicine work at the Institute. Some employees (13 ) are involved in educational activities they introduce scientific results in educational process at different levels (i.e. preschool, school, higher school and postgraduate levels). The Institute regularly organizes the Conference with international participation Mountain Ecosystems and their Components the latest conferences took place in 2012 (Abkhazia), 2014 (Adygei), 2017 and 2019 (KabardinoBalkaria). IEMT RAS essentially participates in popularization of the science and ecological education of the population by means of the interregional public movement Ecology is life, which was founded by the scientists of the Institute. |
