Περιγραφή: landmark is one of the forms of preservation and presentation of cultural and natural heritage. In 2015, specialists of the Institute “Spetsproektrestavratsiya”, on the instructions of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, prepared scientific project documentation for the landmark “Khmelita and the surrounding area”, located on the Vyazma and partly Novodugno districts of the Smolensk region. By the order of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Smolensk Region No. 366 of August 31st, 2017, the landmark is included in the list of identified objects of cultural heritage of the Smolensk region. The territory of the landmark is associated with the lifetime of Alexander Griboyedov, Pavel Nakhimov, Archimandrite Leonid (Kavelin) and other famous people of Russia. The museum-reserve is developing projects aimed at including the landmark “Khmelita and the surrounding area” in the cultural turnover. It is important to preserve and to present the manor complexes and places associated with the heroic pages of the history of the Great Patriotic War, and to develop tourism, pilgrimage and ecological routes. The landmark “Khmelita and its surroundings” creates favorable conditions for the comprehensive study and popularization of unique objects and territories of significant interest to a wide range of visitors.
Достопримечательное место –­ одна из форм сохранения и презентации культурного и природного наследия. В 2015 г. специалистами института «Спецпроектреставрация» по заданию Минкультуры России подготовлена научно-проектная документация по достопримечательному месту «Хмелита и окрестности», расположенному на территории Вяземского и Новодугинского районов Смоленской области. Приказом Департамента Смоленской области по культуре и туризму № 366 от 31 августа 2017 г. достопримечательное место включено в перечень выявленных объектов культурного наследия региона. Территория достопримечательного места связана с биографией А.С. Грибоедова, П.С. Нахимова, архимандрита Леонида (Кавелина) и других известных людей России. Музей-заповедник разрабатывает проекты, направленные на включение достопримечательного места «Хмелита и окрестности» в культурный оборот. Для нас важно как сохранение и публичное представление усадебных комплексов и мест, связанных с героическими страницами истории Великой Отечественной войны, так и разработка туристических, в том числе паломнических и экологических маршрутов. Достопримечательное место «Хмелита и окрестности» создает благоприятные условия для комплексного изучения и популяризации уникальных объектов и территорий, представляющих значительный интерес для широкого круга посетителей.
