| Description: | Kazantip State Nature Reserve is located in the Eastern part of the Crimea on the Kazantip Cape of the Kerch Peninsula in the coastal zone of the Sea of Azov. The Reserve was established on 12 may 1998. The purpose of the Rreserve is the preservation of typical and unique steppe natural complexes, Red Book species of flora and fauna of the Crimea coast and adjacent waters of marine natural ecosystems of the Sea of Azov. The total area of the Reserve (450.1 ha) includes part of the Kazantip Cape and its coastal-aquatic complex (56 ha). The Reserve is a part of the wetland complex of international importance "Water-rock complex Kazantip Cape" with a total area of 251 ha, as well as a natural monument of regional importance "Coastal water complex at Kazantip Cape " - 240 ha. Salinity of water ranges from 10.5 to 11.5 ‰. The average annual temperature of sea water is 11-12 °C. In winter, off the coast of bays water freezes at negative temperatures from -0,5 °C to -0.7 °C. Казантипский заповедник создан 12 мая 1998 г., расположен в восточной части Крыма на мысе Казантип Керченского полуострова в прибрежной зоне Азовского моря. Цель создания - сохранение типичных и уникальных степных природных комплексов, краснокнижных видов флоры и фауны азовоморского побережья Крыма и прилегающей акватории морских природных экосистем. Общая площадь заповедника (450,1 га), включает часть мыса Казантип и его прибрежно-аквальный комплекс (56 га). Акватория заповедника одновременно является частью водно-болотного угодья международного значения «Аквально-скальный комплекс мыса Казантип», а также памятника природы «Прибрежный аквальный комплекс у мыса Казантип». Солёность воды колеблется в пределах 10,5-11,5 ‰. Среднегодовая температура воды 11-12 °С. Зимой вода замерзает у берегов при температуре от -0,5 °C до -0,7 °C. №1(16) (2019) |
