Description:	Изучены структура международного призового коневодства, модель развития и некоторые экономические аспекты отрасли в ведущих странах мира. Обмен генофондом посредством импорта лучших представителей является одним из важнейших факторов совершенствования породы. Однако слабая селекционно-племенная работа, в совокупности с отсутствием единых международных правил испытаний в стране, не позволяет объективно оценить скаковой класс лошадей и выявить особо ценных жеребцов-производителей по качеству потомства. The structure of the International Racing system, the model of Racing development and some economic aspects of the industry in the world have been studied.One of the important factors for development of Thoroughbred is exchange of genotype through the importation of the best representatives of the Breed. But, low level of selection and breeding, absence of International Racing Rules in Russia, does not allow evaluate the class of a horse and identify high quality stallions by Racing performance of their offspring.
