| Description: | Infections caused by bacteria of the genus Nocardia are a serious medical problem, especially among patients with weakened immune systems. This paper presents the results of a clinical and microbiological study of infectious diseases associated with this pathogen. The main attention is paid to the study of epidemiological features, clinical manifestations, as well as methods of diagnosis and treatment of nocardiosis. Various forms of infections are considered, including pneumonia, abscesses of internal organs and systemic infections. Modern diagnostic approaches, including microscopy, culture methods, and molecular genetic analysis, are described. Particular attention is paid to the antimicrobial resistance and sensitivity of Nocardia strains to various antibiotics. The results of the study emphasize the importance of timely detection and adequate treatment of nocardial infections, given their potential severity and the possibility of complications. The data obtained can be useful to clinicians, microbiologists, and specialists in the field of infectious pathology to improve the diagnosis and management of patients with nocardial infections. Инфекции, вызванные бактериями рода Nocardia, представляют собой серьезную медицинскую проблему, особенно среди пациентов с ослабленной иммунной системой. В данной работе представлены результаты клинико-микробиологического исследования инфекционных заболеваний, ассоциированных с этим возбудителем. Основное внимание уделено изучению эпидемиологических особенностей, клинических проявлений, а также методам диагностики и лечения нокардиозов. Рассмотрены различные формы инфекций, включая пневмонию, абсцессы внутренних органов и системные инфекции. Описаны современные подходы к диагностике, включающие микроскопию, культуральные методы и молекулярно-генетический анализ. Особое внимание уделяется вопросам антимикробной резистентности и чувствительности штаммов Nocardia к различным антибиотикам. Результаты исследования подчеркивают важность своевременного выявления и адекватного лечения нокардиальных инфекций, учитывая их потенциальную тяжесть и возможность осложнений. |
