| Description: | This paper details the potential of scrapbooking as an arts-based approach to data generation in health, fitness, and physical education contexts. I organize the paper to resemble a scrapbook, with its ‘pages’ unfolding in five parts. I start with an introduction and background on scrapbooking before turning to illustrate two examples of scrapbooking used in my research and teaching. The ‘final’ part brings these scraps (or fragments) together—as well as some newer scraps—to emphasize the personal, dynamic, and multifaceted nature of the scrapbooking process and the scrapbook itself. In framing the paper like a scrapbook, I urge readers to engage in a playful and critical exploration as they ‘turn the pages’ to imagine the possibilities of scrapbooking as a methodological and pedagogical approach in health, fitness, and physical education-related fields. |
