| Description: | This paper deals with the meanings of polysemantic contextually determinate lexeme すみません, which is significant both for Japanese culture and for Japanese language. Initially the Chinese character 済む was borrowed by Japanese, currently the studied lexeme is written in hiragana alphabet. Japanese culture is a culture of innuendos and semantically ambiguity words and expressions, and since a language is both a component of culture and means of preservation of this culture, it reflects as popular Japanese culture as psychology of Japanese nation. Only one meaning of the lexeme すみません sumimasen 'sorry' is indicated in Russian dictionaries, whereas four meanings namely apology, gratitude, appeal (to someone), request are indicated in Japanese dictionaries. At the same time each meanings of the lexeme すみません sumimasen has synonyms that clearly express this meaning but have stylistically different using. It should also be noted that the lexeme すみません sumimasen expresses such opposite meanings as apology and gratitude. В данной работе рассматривается значения полисемантичной контекстуально обусловленной лексемы すみません сумимасэн, значимой для японской культуры и языка. Изначально китайский иероглиф済む был заимствован, адаптирован японским языком, в настоящее время изучаемая лексема записывается азбукой хирагана. Японская культура — это культура недомолвок и семантически неясных слов и выражений, а поскольку язык является одновременно и компонентом культуры и средством ее сохранения, он отражает народную японскую культуру и психологию японской нации. В русских источниках указывается только одно значение лексемы すみません сумимасэн “извините”, а в японских — четыре: извинение, благодарность, обращение (к кому-то), просьба, при этом для каждого значения у лексемы すみません сумимасэн существуют синонимы, которые четко выражают это значение, но имеют стилистически разное употребление. Также следует отметить, что лексема すみませんсумимасэн в японском языке выражает такие противоположные значения, как извинение и благодарность. |
