Over the past three decades, geophysical forward and inversion techniques have been widely applied and remain a research hotspot for geophysicists worldwide. The open-sourcing of related code represents a significant feature of current technological development, leading to the emergence of large-scale libraries such as SimPEG. The SimPEG library has attracted considerable attention due to its capability to handle forward and inversion problems for various geophysical methods. However, its large codebase presents a steep learning curve for beginners. This paper systematically discusses the code framework and technical characteristics of the SimPEG library through a step-by-step approach. aiming to help beginners master its powerful functionality. First, a code example of forward and inversion using the DC resistivity method is introduced to provide a quick understanding of the library's basic functions, Second, the main code of the SimPEG library is summarized into two major categories and seven modules, facilitating a comprehensive grasp of its overall content. Third, the important classes involved in the forward and inversion processes and their inheritance relationships are examined in detail, revealing the library's code framework. On this basis, the core concept of "mapping" (Map) within the SimPEG library is thoroughly analyzed. Finally, the technical approaches and their roles in simplifying the handling of forward and inversion problems for multiple geophysical methods in SimPEG are discussed. By systematically analyzing the code framework of this library, this paper compensates for the deficiency of SimPEG's official documentation, which emphasizes functional usage while neglecting code structure analysis, resolves the difficulty in understanding SimPEG's abstract code, and facilitates secondary development based on this library's technology. 近三十年来, 地球物理正反演技术被广泛应用, 也是全球地球物理工作者的研究热点之一。相关代码开源 是当前技术发展的重要特点, 涌现出 SimPEG 等大型库。SimPEG 库因具备多种地球物理方法正反演功能而备受关 注, 但其代码规模庞大, 初学者入门困难。本研究采用层层递进方式, 系统讨论 SimPEG 库的代码框架结构及其 技术特点, 旨在帮助初学者掌握其强大功能。首先, 以直流电阻率方法正反演功能示例代码为切入点, 快速理解 该库的基本功能; 其次, 把 SimPEG 库的主要代码概括为两个大类和 7 个模块, 以便更清晰地把握其整体内容; 接着, 详细讨论 SimPEG 库正反演计算过程所涉及的重要类及其继承情况, 从而揭示其代码框架。在此基础上, 深入剖析了 SimPEG 库中的"映射" (Map) 概念。最后, 分析了 SimPEG 库简化处理多种地球物理方法正反演问 题的技术途径及其作用。通过对此库代码框架系统地解析, 弥补了 SimPEG 官方文档重功能使用而轻代码结构解 析的不足, 解决了理解 SimPEG 抽象代码的困难, 便于对此库技术进行二次开发。 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
