Abstract: Ever since the invention of the first edition of HTML, web development technologies have undergone substantial improvement and innovation, reshaping the digital landscape over the past three decades. The foundational languages of the web HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, have evolved significantly, forming the backbone of modern web systems. These languages have introduced advanced functionalities, improved performance, and enabled dynamic, user-friendly interfaces that are essential for the web experience today. This paper explores the evolution of these technologies, tracing their journey from the early stages of web development to their current state, highlighting the introduction of new standards and practices that have revolutionized the way websites are designed and developed. A particular focus is given to how these technologies have influenced the development of some of the world's leading websites, including Google, Facebook, Adobe, and Amazon. These platforms exemplify the transformative power of web technologies, demonstrating how advancements in scripting, styling, and markup have enabled businesses to create robust, scalable, and innovative solutions. By examining these developments, this paper sheds light on the pivotal role these technologies have played in shaping the web as we know it today, providing insights into their enduring impact on the future of web development.
