Abstract: This article focuses on recent advances in enabling vaccine technologies aimed at combating emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. It highlights innovations such as nucleic acid-based vaccines, viral vectors, nanoparticle platforms, novel adjuvants, and improved manufacturing processes that enhance vaccine efficacy, stability, and scalability. Key topics include strategies to overcome cold-chain limitations through freeze-drying, optimization of adenovirus vector production, epitope-focused antigen design, and the role of adjuvants in enhancing immune responses, especially in vulnerable populations. The article also discusses analytical and computational tools for vaccine characterization, epigenetic factors influencing vaccine responsiveness, and high-energy electron beam irradiation as a method for producing inactivated vaccines.
