Abstract: General Background: The agricultural sector is vital to Indonesia's economy, with a majority of the population reliant on farming. However, traditional distribution chains often involve middlemen, leading to increased costs and reduced profits for farmers. Specific Background: The rapid development of Android-based technologies and the popularity of e-commerce in Indonesia present an opportunity to transform agricultural commodity distribution. Knowledge Gap: Despite advancements in e-commerce, there is a lack of targeted digital solutions addressing the challenges of middlemen-dominated agricultural markets. Aims: This study designs and develops an Android-based agricultural commodity sales application to streamline transactions, reduce reliance on intermediaries, and enable farmers to sell directly to consumers. Results: Using Android Studio, the application includes features such as user registration, product categorization, detailed pricing, and a secure login system. Testing confirms that the system operates smoothly, providing a user-friendly interface for buyers and sellers. Novelty: The application leverages Java and Kotlin programming to create a tailored e-commerce solution that directly addresses the agricultural sector's unique challenges. Implications: This innovation empowers farmers by offering direct market access, competitive pricing, and improved profitability while encouraging digital transformation in rural communities. The application serves as a model for integrating technology into traditional industries to achieve economic and social benefits. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
