Περίληψη: Since the multi-beam interference can generate interfered signals in a variable-gap spectrometer, the output can be a combination of sinusoidal-like signals. Thus, the application of the Fast Fourier Transform to the interferometric information produces the appearance of higher-order harmonics in the frequency domain. Furthermore, the superposition of these may lead to the deformation of the spectral signal and a reduction in the signal-to-noise ratio. An improved data processing method is proposed herein that iteratively approximates a numerical solution to retrieve the fundamental frequency signal. A precise analytical expression can be derived to obtain the mixed signal from the fundamental frequency signal. However, reversing this process to determine the fundamental frequency signal from the mixed signal is challenging. To address this concern, we introduce an approximate iterative numerical method. The proposed approach demonstrates significant improvements and helps process data collected from the variable-gap spectrometer based on extensive simulations and experimentation.
