Περίληψη: Princess Elizabeth Land (PEL) remains one of the last unexplored regions in Antarctica, making global gravity field models essential for characterising its gravity features. However, the applicability of these models to PEL has yet to be thoroughly validated. The accuracies of six global gravity field models with and without measured gravity data were compared with airborne gravity data. The resolution of these models and the airborne gravity data were analysed using the radially averaged energy spectrum. The findings indicate that, on average, models incorporating gravity data are 12.09% more accurate than those without the data, with XGM2019e_2159 achieving the highest accuracy in estimating free-air gravity anomalies. Spectral analysis reveals that the resolution of the gravity field models is slightly higher than that of the airborne gravity data for longer wavelengths (∼80 to 300 km). XGM2019e_2159 provided the highest accuracy and resolution for the anomalies in PEL and is suitable for developing a high-accuracy and high-resolution gravity model for the region combined with airborne gravity data.
