Abstract: With the advancement of information technology and intelligent systems, smart workplaces have become mainstream, accompanied by a growing workforce engaged in screen-based work. The persistent or prolonged close-up use of computer and visual display terminal (VDT) equipment has significantly increased occupational eye health risks. This paper provides a comprehensive review of common workplace eye disorders (such as visual fatigue and dry eye syndrome) among screen users, analyzes associated risk factors, and proposes management strategies to identify occupational hazards and promote workforce wellness.
