Περίληψη: The article advocates powerful processing technology like parallel programming techniques to support high-frequency trading. Trading firms need to increase processing in order to push orders and strategies faster and scrutinize everything from connection to trading venues including the ways they monitor risks of trades, before and after they are made. It suggested that aside from more speed which cut out transit and execution time, breaking news and corporate actions could be factored into the new trading algorithm.
