Περίληψη: This case study aimed to examine the impact of the Japanese Kaizen strategy for continuous improvement on the competitive advantage of Jordanian banks. A random sample of 400 managers from the lower, middle, and upper management levels in these banks was selected (n = 400). A questionnaire was developed to collect data from the target sample. After conducting the validity and reliability tests of the questionnaire, the researchers distributed it electronically to the members of the target sample. Only (385) questionnaires were returned and were valid for use. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach, and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to extract the statistical results. The study concluded that the dimensions of the Japanese Kaizen strategy have a statistically significant positive correlation with competitive advantage variables and an impact on the competitive advantage of Jordanian banks. This indicates that banks that apply the Kaizen strategy more extensively enjoy a greater competitive advantage. The study proposed a number of recommendations, the most important of which was to provide ongoing awareness and training programs for all levels of management and employees on the Kaizen philosophy and its practical applications, and to clarify the role and responsibilities of continuous improvement cells in the workplace to reduce resistance and enhance the skills necessary for continuous improvement.
