| Περίληψη: | ABSTRACT This paper introduces cyclic structure theory (CST), a formal framework describing the structural conditions under which any organized system narrows its threshold band as it matures and consolidates. While existing theories—including autopoiesis, Kuhnian paradigm theory and self‐organization—have observed the phenomenon of structural closure, none has formally specified the conditions under which closure intensifies as a function of maturation and precision. CST addresses this gap by proposing a three‐layer architecture—the invisible layer, the reality layer and the projection layer—through which any organized system operates as a signal synchronizing across layers at variable ratios. The core proposition is that as density increases within a cyclic structure, the threshold band narrows, rendering synchronization progressively more demanding. This dynamic is formalized through a set of relational parameters—synchronization ratio, projection state, structural density, threshold width, spin and deviation ratio—alongside two estimation methods: external approximation via structured inquiry and internal approximation via self‐evaluation logs. CST does not evaluate structures as adaptive or maladaptive; it describes the structural conditions that make such evaluations inaccessible from within. The framework is scale‐invariant, applying across biological, organizational, cultural and linguistic systems. Illustrative cases from professional transitions, cross‐cultural adaptation and institutional entrenchment demonstrate the theory's descriptive reach. CST is positioned as a structural complement to prior theories of self‐organization and closure, formalizing what those theories observed but did not specify. Critically, where prior frameworks describe closure as a relationship among externally observable system variables, CST specifies the internal architecture through which that relationship is generated and formalizes why the narrowing of the threshold band remains structurally inaccessible to observers operating from within the consolidated system.
