This paper structures the conditions for Microsoft Office VBA macro execution into an instructional procedure that enables learners and trainees to examine them step by step. To this end, it separates the structural organization of code from the paths and conditions leading to execution, and systematizes the inspection elements from both static and dynamic perspectives. On the static side, the procedure is organized around the VBProject and its constituent modules and procedures. The x/m distinction in OOXML formats is reinterpreted not as a direct indicator of executability, but as a packaging constraint on embedded code containers. On the dynamic side, execution is structured in terms of call graphs, triggers, and scope, while distinguishing document scope from global scope in order to clarify repeated executability and the conditions of coupling with the host environment. In addition, the conditions for runtime entry and the associated gating mechanisms, influenced by file origin, trust state, and policy variables, are organized as control points and decision flows. Based on this framework, the paper presents a reference procedure through which macro execution paths and control factors can be examined step by step using only minimal logs and basic tools such as VBE and PowerShell, with potential applications in security education and training.
