The article describes the KNX-BAOS module "kBerry 838," which enables a direct connection between a Raspberry Pi and the KNX bus to develop cost-effective KNX devices. The module is connected to the Raspberry Pi via a serial interface and supports education in building automation by conveying system understanding and software practice. The contribution explains the installation of the Raspberry Pi, the setup of the ETS project, as well as the installation of the necessary software to work with the module.
