Περίληψη: Micro electrical discharge machining (µEDM) is a cost-effective and robust process for fabricating micro features on tiny parts of multifunctional gadgets. Advanced acoustic engineering, medical, industrial, and other areas use brass sheet with slit microcharacteristics. This current research focuses on the impact of process parameters on responses during machining and fabrication of microslits in μEDM process. ANOVA analysis found capacitance and voltage to be the two of the most influential process parameters on responses. Overall Evaluation Criteria (OEC) is employed for process optimization, and optimal condition is found at voltage = 80 V, capacitance = 100pF, feed = 10 µm/s, and electrode rotation = 2800 rpm. At optimal condition, the average width of the fabricated array of slits at entry and exit is 524.53 µm and 497.07 µm, respectively. The edge deviation at the slit's entry and exit is calculated to be 9.05 µm and 8.59 µm, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
