| Περίληψη: | The generalized auxiliary equation method (GAEM) was employed to solve the wave equation of a nonlinear elastic rod (NER), yielding several exact infinite solutions. Numerical simulations were conducted to illustrate the graphs of some of these solutions. The findings contribute to the ongoing investigation into the existence of solitary waves in nonlinear elastic rods. It is demonstrated that the GAEM is a straightforward, efficient, and versatile approach, applicable to a wide range of other nonlinear evolution equations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
