Περίληψη: The paper considers virtual and digital models, which are the key tools for transformation and development of the main production business processes of industrial enterprises of the Russian Federation. Characteristic features of virtual and digital models for the development of business processes of an industrial enterprise are identified, the analysis of filters in digital and virtual models of business processes is presented, and the areas of their application are visualized. The author's position on the transformation and development of the main industrial business processes with the use of virtual and digital models is presented. A script in the Python programming language for creating a virtual model of the main production business process is shown. The application of virtual and digital models together provides industrial enterprises with a comprehensive approach to the transformation and development of core production business processes.
