She is best known as Dr Eleanor Bramwell in ''Bramwell'' (1995–1998), Kate Lethbridge-Stewart in ''Doctor Who'' (2012–2015, 2021-2025), its spin-off ''The War Between the Land and the Sea'' (2025) and Bernie Wolfe in ''Holby City'' (2016-2018, 2021-2022).
