Myra Marx Ferree

Myra Marx Ferree (born October 10, 1949) is the Alice H. Cook Professor of Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was formerly a director of the Center for German and European Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she was also a member of the Women's Studies Program. In 2005 she was a Berlin Prize Fellow at the American Academy in Berlin and in 2004 the Maria-Jahoda Visiting professor at the Ruhr University Bochum. Ferree retired in 2018. As of 2026, she is president of the Guild of Scholars of the Episcopal Church. Provided by Wikipedia
